It is our intention to:

• Understand the varying constraints across the NWE territory and assess the current policy framework
• Develop a definition and meaning of Smart Economic Growth
• Engage with a range of key stakeholders including businesses and local governance to encourage greater exchange and greater co-operation between them
• Develop through transnational co-operation alternative approaches with relevance across NWE
• Inform policy makers and future policy development
• Produce and publish guidance to implement Smart Economic Growth and provide a legacy of knowledge and understanding for future demonstration and implementation
